What is a Creative Learning Board?
A creative learning board is an open-ended learning activity that supports a variety of fine motor skills, sensory exploration, and learning through play. It is designed to fit into an Ikea Trofast bin. Creative learning boards are multifunctional and support open-ended learning. Perfect for schools, home, grandparent's house, or play on the go! Each design is carefully planned and created to support various themes and learning objectives.
How does a subscription work?
When you sign up for our monthly subscription, you commit to one billing cycle. An order is automatically created when you enroll, and you are not able to pause, skip, or cancel that first order. After your first order has shipped, you may cancel your subscription at any time or skip a month. Once you sign up, you are enrolled until you decide to make a change to your account. Customers are billed on the 24th or 25th of the month and subscription kits are always shipped on the 30th of every month. If you would like to skip your monthly shipment, you must do so by the 23rd of the month.
What do I get with my order?
Each subscription order comes with a new double-sided learning board in a canvas bag (perfect easy storage). Each design is carefully planned to maximize open-ended learning and play! New designs are released monthly. Your board will be paired with accessories. Accessories vary from month to month. You may review past subscription boards by clicking in the "past subscription boards" tab.
*Note on accessories and loose parts included with order: Accessories included contain small parts. This could be a choking hazard for children under age three. Adult supervision is required at all times during play. Products intended for children over age 3.
What size is the learning board I will receive?
The size of the learning board you will receive is the same each month. All boards in this website fit a small-sized Trofast bin, dimensions are 7¾x11 ¾x4 "
Do I need the Flisat table to use your products?
You do not need the Flisat table to play with our creative learning boards™. While it is a bonus to have the table, many of our customers purchase the Trofast bins and play on the floor, on a regular tabletop, in the car on laps, or simply on their own sensory table.
How long is the subscription?
All subscriptions are month-to-month. After your first order is shipped, you may cancel anytime! We do not issue refunds/cancellations before your first order has shipped. You may NOT skip the first month once you have enrollment since an order is generated for the first month when you sign up. You may skip or cancel anytime after the very first pay period (the 25th of the month you enroll).

* We use the address that is on file (what you input when you enroll) and are not responsible for mailing your package to an incorrect address. Please make sure your shipping address is always correct and up to date.
Can I preview the design before the 24th so I can decide to skip a month if I want to?
Yes! Designs are always released in the middle of the month (around the 15th). First on social media (IG @thecreativelearningco ) and then emailed to our subscribers.
How much does shipping cost?
Shipping is $4 on all subscription boards. Accessories and specialty items may have different prices. Shipping costs are totaled in your cart per item. You will not ever be charged more than $15 to ship.
Why are past boards more expensive than being enrolled in the subscription?
Actively enrolled members (in the subscription) have the benefit of getting a lower cost. This is one of the perks to being enrolled :)
How does your referral program work?
When you give a friend your special referral code, and they use it to enroll, then you will be issued a $6 shop credit that will automatically be applied to your next purchase. Our "give some, get some" referral program will also give your friend $6 off their first order. The discount is added like store credit and doesn't have an expiration date.
Where do I find my referral link?
It is listed on the main page of your customer portal.
What if my items appear to have been damaged during shipping?
Our shipping team works extremely hard to package each order very well. Occasionally mail handlers are rougher with packages than we would like after it has left our warehouse. If you suspect your items have been damaged during shipping, please take photos (BEFORE you open them from all of the packaging) and send us an email explaining the situation. We want to make sure all of our customers are completely satisfied and will do whatever it takes to work through the problem.
What is your return policy?
We do not accept returns since all designs are previewed and you have the opportunity to skip a month. That being said, if your order is damaged in some way, we will work with you to make it right. We always want customers to be completely satisfied with their purchase(s).
Please note: We will not issue refunds to people who have forgotten to cancel by the 23rd of the month
What is the best way to store and clean your products?
Learning boards can be wiped down with a damp cloth and should be stored in a dry area (away from extreme temperatures). It is best to keep wood products at a steady temperature. Paints and dyes (such as food coloring) may discolor the wood or decals, so please be mindful of any colorants in your play materials. Warping and discoloration may occur if products are not kept dry. Harsh cleaning supplies should not be used on our products as it can damage the surface/finish.
What if my credit card is expired or invalid?
It is the customer's responsibility to have an up-to-date credit card on file. All customers are billed on the 24th or 25th of the month. If your card does not work/is invalid our system will continue to try and process the payment for up to four days at 12am. If you get a notification of a declined payment, please log-in immediately and update your credit card on file, otherwise, your subscription will be terminated. You may sign back up at any time, however, we can not ship products to people who have not paid in full by the 29th.
